This is a documentary that I filmed for The Nature Conservancy, Ho‘olono follows Auli‘i Cravalho as she returns to Hawai‘i on a listening journey guided by Indigenous and environmental stewards, where ancestral practices and living landscapes reshape what it means to belong.
Ho'olono, meaning "to listen deeply," is a cinematic act of listening and an exploration of return, responsibility, and our evolving relationship to land and self.
